Transparency and accountability are important parts of how MHDO works. We aim to communicate openly, manage resources responsibly and remain accountable to the communities, partners and stakeholders connected to our work.
Safeguarding
The term "Safeguarding" means that Johanniter International Assistance is committed to protecting the physical and mental well-being of all people who come into contact with its work. These are the employees of Johanniter in the country offices and in Berlin as well as of partner organizations worldwide and all people in our projects. Johanniter thus implements international standards and even goes beyond them.
MEAL
Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEAL) are essential components of each project cycle. We work on our own MEAL system to develop our projects in a context-specific way.
Finance
In 2024, Johanniter International Assistance managed 66 projects in 21 countries with a total financial volume of 36,766,959 euros in 2024. At the end of 2024, project expenditure consisted of 13,855.200 euros in third-party funding and 22,911.759 euros in donations.
